SLA Boys Team pages and Practice Schedules are Live!

The SLA Boys team pages and practice schedules are now live.  You can go to our website (www.staffordyouthlacrosse.com), head to the "Team Information" tab up top and use the pull down menus to get to the correct season, division and team.  The Local Recreation age groups have not been broken into separate teams yet since those groups do not play games for several weeks.  That will happen when coaches have a better idea about the players and how to divide them equally and fairly.

Thanks for your patience as we worked out a few details regarding our schedules.  Please reach out to with questions.

Spring 2018 Registration Closes March 12th

Registration for the Spring 2018 Local Recreation season is still open!!  Registration will close on March 12th.  Register now!  Come learn and play lacrosse with the most experienced recreational lacrosse provider in the area.  We have programs for boys and girls of all ages/grades (K-8) and experience levels.
There are several changes in the programs offered for 2018 as well as the registration and uniform ordering processes.  Please check out the Boys and Girls Program pages and the SLA Overview page for more information.  We think the new program alignment will enhance our Association and allow for greater participation for players of all skill levels for all levels of competition.
New for 2018, SLA will offer the Local Recreation divsion of lacrosse at all age levels where player participation numbers support the offering.  Our Local Recreation program consists of fundamental instruction, small-sided practices and local games.  At younger age groups, small-sided instruction and play will allow for greater player enjoyment and skill development with more individualized instruction and greater participation.  At older age groups, the local rec option provides full-sided instruction and play and prepares players for participation in the sport at higher levels of schooling and competition.
The local recreation divison season begins in March with up to two practices per week and continues through May with weekend games in Stafford (and possibly Spotsylvania) County.
Reach out to the Boys or Girls Program Commissioners at with questions.
